Step 1: Data Input

  • Import the datasets from the two different sources that need to be reconciled using the “Input Data” tool.

Step 2: Data Preparation

  • Clean and prepare the data for comparison. Use tools like “Select,” “Filter,” and “Data Cleansing” to ensure both datasets are in a comparable format.

Step 3: Data Comparison

  • Use the “Join” tool to merge the datasets based on key fields to identify discrepancies. Utilize the “Find Replace” tool to locate and resolve mismatches.

Step 4: Validation

  • Apply the “Formula” tool to create validation rules and the “Filter” tool to identify records that do not meet the criteria. The “Summarize” tool can help generate reports on the validation outcomes.

Step 5: Output

  • Generate a report or export the validated and reconciled data using the “Output Data” tool.
